Cooking with High Pressure Steam.

The nicest benefit of a Pressure Cooker is that it is a fast way to cook dinner and saves lots of time in the kitchen. The handles are clamped down to keep the steam inside the pot and the food is cooked quickly.
Cooking with a Pressure Cooker will infuse flavor into the meats and vegetables. The steamed cooked food will hold the vitamins and minerals usually lost when boiling food. By steaming the food, vitamins and minerals will stay in creating a healthy way of cooking.

Most Pressure Cookers come with a steam release button in case the pressure gets to high. It is easy and delicious to cook with a Pressure Cooker. You just start out on medium heat and then turn down to simmer.

Once you get use to these Pressure Cookers, you'll wonder how you did without them. The cooking time it saves, and the ease of use and wonderfully rich flavoring that can be infused into food in a short time make this a really worthwhile.

I use to have terrible trouble cooking a tender pot roast until I realized that it wasn't me, it was the cheap cookware that I was using. But if you cook with a waterless roaster that has a Multi-ply bottom, your roast will turn out so tender and moist. The waterless cookware sets come with a stove top roaster made with a 5-ply or 7-ply base. Either one is fine for a tender pot roast.
First, pre-heat your waterless roaster on the stove top on medium heat. Then, sear your roast on both sides and lower the temperature. Cover your waterless roaster for 2 hours on low heat. Don't peek until the last 30 minutes when you can add potatoes, carrots and onions. The juices from the roast will steam cook the meat and vegetables slowly and evenly to make the most tender pot roast ever. The multi-ply bottom in the waterless roaster makes all the difference. Watch the video below to show you how to cook the most tender pot roast on the stove top with waterless cookware. Enjoy!

I love comfort food and this seafood recipe is comforting. This Jumbo Shrimp recipe is great steamed cooked using the Seafood Steam Control 8qt Stock Pot Set that comes with steamer baskets. You need about 15 Jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined. Add a whole cabbage, 3 large potatoes, 2 onions to the steamer stock pot and cook for about 25 minutes. You only need a little bit of water to steam these vegetables. Add Old Bay Seasoning, garlic, parsley and minced ginger to the steamer. Wait for the whistle to blow, then close the steam control valve on the lid and turn down the heat to simmer. The Jumbo Shrimp only take about 7 minutes to cook so want to add them at the end. Mix well and serve with garlic toast. If you want to make this shrimp dish spicy, add Cayenne Pepper or Red Pepper flakes for an extra jump kick. Yum!

If you are steaming Alaskan Snow Crab Legs, Lobsters or a bunch of Little Neck Clams you need a extra large 24qt or 30qt Steam Control Pot. To steam, start with about an inch of water at the bottom, then add your lobster, snow crab legs, clams, fish fillets or shrimp. To season, we suggest Old Bay seafood seasoning, garlic, onions and parsley. You can add vegetables like corn, potatoes and rice to the Steamer Basket that comes with the Large Stock Pot Sets.
The lid should have a steam control valve at the top for steaming the seafood. Try using the Extra Large Stock Pots with the Whistle inside the Steam Control Value. This will let you know when its time to close the valve and turn down the heat. It will finish cooking with the valve closed which is convenient and easy. See Large Seafood Steamer Stock Pots
